Seafarer's Licence / Application Form

All officers and crew members aboard Panamanian vessels must have a valid seaman book according the international regulations of the IMO

Our team serves the interests of shipowners by aiding them in manning their ships in accordance to the existing regulations.

Therefore, Shipowners or Seafarers themselves may have applications processed before the Panama Maritime Authority in a reliable and expeditious manner.  All mandatory certifications and endorsements under STCW (78/95) requirements are immediately processed upon receipt of the documentation by email.  Our team ensures prompt completion of the Full Term License by a close care of each application.

We satisfie the needs of seafarers whose essential expectation is to promptly obtain the necessary licenses and seamen books for every Master, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer, other officers and ratings. Becoming a certified seafarers shall no longer be a tedious protocol.

Seafarer's Licence / Requirements & procedures

Following instructions in accordance with STCW 78/1995 Convention, as from November 10  2001, Merchant Marine administration will only accept application forms for Endorsement of Title complying with the 1995 amendments of the STCW 78 Convention.
Any License for revalidation must have been issued by the Maritime Authority of a country within the "White List" published by the International Maritime Organisation.

OTHERS
a) Dispensation Letter:
This is an authorization document issued by the Panamanian Administration that allows a crewmember to disembark for any of the following reasons:  Medically unfit, Family reasons, home country license, etc.  For more information and/or requesting a dispensation please complete the here in after attached Form (Application for Dispensation Letter.pdf) and provide the required documents.

b) Marine technical assistance:
We count with a staff of qualified Marine Surveyors which are willing to attend your technical inquires regarding to any National and International Regulations, IMO Resolutions, SOLAS, MARPOL & ILO Conventions.

c) Husbandry Services:
We can arrange also other services in Panamanian waters as per Owner’s request such as technical inspections, repairs, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, underwater cleaning and underwater video inspections.

Annual Safety Inspection (ASI) & Inspections for vessels older than 20 years

Our team coordinates Panama Flag State Inspections which are mandatory for vessels sailing under Panamanian flag in foreign service and international commerce. For it we count with a strong network of qualified marine experts in some of the most  strategically located ports in the following countries around the world.

ASI inspections are conducted to ensure that vessels comply with National and International Laws and Regulations in force.
